Founder and Program Director Micah Ousley, discovered his passion for basketball at the age of five. What began as a simple fascination with a small ball and toy hoop evolved into a lifelong commitment to mentoring, ministering, and motivating youth through the game of basketball. His journey is driven by a deep calling to empower the next generation—physically, mentally, and spiritually—by using basketball as a transformative tool for personal growth and life success.

Over the years, he has dedicated himself to developing young athletes through various programs, not only refining their skills on the court but also instilling values that transcend the game. His mission with Next 5 Basketball Academy extends beyond basketball, focusing on equipping youth with the discipline, resilience, and leadership skills necessary to excel in all areas of life.
